What to know about your commercial insurance growth desk.

What does a full‑time SDR cost?

$4,000 per month for one full‑time SDR, trained and managed by SetterDesk. Lead generation and appointment programs are separate scopes. Your proposal confirms the work, terms and any additional costs before you start.

What does my SDR do?

An SDR is a sales development representative. Your SDR supports commercial insurance prospecting: approved outreach, follow-up, agreed qualification, meeting coordination and a useful handoff. We train around your agency and manage the SDR. Your licensed producers handle insurance advice, quotes and sales.

Do I need to bring my own leads?

You can bring an approved prospect list or existing inquiries. If you need new commercial insurance leads, we can scope a separate lead-generation program. List sources, targeting, delivery and costs are agreed before work begins.

Can I buy leads or appointments without an SDR?

Yes. We offer commercial insurance lead-generation and appointment programs separately. We first agree on your target accounts, qualification, territory, delivery process and pricing. The $4,000 monthly SDR fee is not a price for either program.

What counts as a qualified appointment?

We define it together before launch: the business profile, territory, decision-maker, reason for the conversation and agreed meeting details. Qualification and any billing or credit rules belong in your proposal. A name in a spreadsheet is not the same as a booked conversation.

Does the SDR sell insurance?

The service is prospecting support and meeting coordination. Your licensed agency personnel handle insurance advice, coverage recommendations, quoting and sales. We agree on the SDR’s responsibilities and your approved outreach process before launch.

Can you work with our existing process?

We review your account lists, CRM, calendars and producer handoff before recommending the setup. Any access or integration needs are confirmed in scope. We do not assume every system connects automatically.

Do you guarantee appointments or new premium?

No. The SDR offer provides full‑time managed capacity, not a guaranteed number of meetings, policies or revenue. Lead and appointment programs have their own agreed delivery scope. Your agency handles the insurance sale.

Is there a contract or setup fee?

We confirm the initial term, cancellation requirements, start date and any additional costs in your proposal. Monthly pricing describes the rate; it does not imply a month-to-month agreement or an immediate start.

How do we get started?

Tell us about your commercial insurance agency, target accounts and the support you need. We review fit and outline the scope. Sending an inquiry does not enroll you or automatically book a meeting.
